Darwood Morris Crain

Masonic service for Darwood Morris Crain, 73, of Dallas will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Holcombe officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home. Mr. Crain died Monday at Doctor’s Hospital in Dallas. He was born Jan. 22, 1928 in Corsicana to Henry Lee and Emma Lee Higgenbotham Crain. Mr. Crain was a store manager for Good Neighbor in Arlington. He was a member of the Casa View Baptist Church and was a Mason, Shriner and Scottish Rites. He is survived by his wife, Delores Crain of Dallas; daughters, Sandra Irene Perdue of Hutchins and Nena Jenkins of Mesquite; sons, Dwaine Morris Crain of Terrell and Ricky Allan Crain of Dallas, sister, Ruby of Washington; brothers, Coy Crain of South Houston, Thurman Crain of Tyler and James Crain of Houston. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Gardner and Newt Campbell. Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
